Obsessive Compulsive Backpackers exists to provide its members with opportunities for recreation, education, and preservation while pursuing the wilderness experience. The Tidewater Appalachian Trail Club's (TATC) purpose is maintaining a section of the Appalachian Trail as assigned by the Appalachian Trail Conservancy, and providing organized hiking, backpacking, camping, educational and other activities for its members.  This is our Meetup Group.

Meet with local adventurers to plan trips and talk about camping, adventures, gear, trails, destinations and trips. This group is for people who want to get out there, have some fun, and meet others with similar interests. We are first and foremost a group of people who enjoy outdoor adventures and exploration.
